About

Slate Hub started as a group chat where four of us kept sending each other screenshots and arguing about whether a game was worth the storage space. At some point the arguments got long enough to turn into articles, so here we are. We are a small independent team, not a studio mouthpiece.

What we care about is the feel of a game over a few weeks, not the first flashy hour. Mobile titles live or die on repetition, so we play until the systems reveal themselves. If a progression curve turns into a wall, we say so.,We pick games the way a friend would recommend them: something caught our eye, we installed it, and it either earned a spot on the home screen or got wiped. Genre doesn't matter much to us, we cover RPGs, strategy, racing, cozy sims, whatever looks interesting that week.,Nobody pays us to be nice. Ratings are our own opinion after real sessions, and when we miss something, readers tell us and we fix it. That loop is the whole point.
