Grind We Don't Mind, Grind We Do
Every mobile RPG has grind. The question we ask is whether the grind means anything. Good grind gives you a choice, a build to shape, a moment of visible power. Bad grind is just a timer wearing a costume.
When we review something like Emberfall Saga, we track how often leveling up actually changes how we play. If three levels pass and nothing feels different, that's a red flag we note in the piece.
We also watch for the quiet traps: energy meters, daily login streaks, upgrade walls that appear right when the story gets good. None of those are automatically disqualifying, but they shape how we score pacing.
The best RPGs make the climb feel like the reward. Our job is to tell you which ones pull that off and which ones just want you to keep tapping.
